He was predeceased by: his parents, John Briggs and Ruby Jane Stratton (Orem) of Provo Bench; and his wife Theodora "Teddy" Stratton. He is survived by: his children, Lisa Sorenson (Brett) of Belmont, Richard "Rick" Stratton (Shelly) of Missoula, Ryan Stratton (Kadee) of Alpine, Julia Harmon (Dean) of Billerica and Suzanne Whitaker (Gary) of Orem; and his sister MarJean. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Cherry Hill 5th Ward (135 E 2000 S St, Orem, UT 84058). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
