He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Jim and Pauline May. He is survived by: his parents, Andy May and Debbie May; his wife Rachel; his daughter Molly; and his brothers, Scott (Andi), Tanner (Angie), Garrett (Jocelynn), Carter and Brandon.

He graduated from Salem Hills High School in 2015, where he played soccer, sang in choir, and won the title of "Mr. Skyhawk" in the school charity pageant.
