Shizuka will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Shizuka by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Shizuka is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Shizuka’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kametoshi Sato and Tomi Sato; and her brothers, Shizuma and Toshiyuki Sato. She is survived by: her husband Theodore Hisao; and her children, Theodore Ryo Okawa (Jessica), Christopher Hisao Okawa (Rumi), Traci Tomi Andreason (Adam) and Timothy Shin Okawa (Shizuka). She is also survived by nine grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:15 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the Grandview East Stake Center (1081 W 1060 N St, Provo, UT 84604).
