He is survived by : his wife Amaryllis Pope (Amy); his children, Allen Wernz (Kathy), Virginia Newson (Mike) and Joyce Ann Draper (Sterling); and his brother Therald Wernz. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
