He was predeceased by: his parents, James Gerald and Cleotha Johnson (Coombs); his siblings, G. B. and Tharon; his brother-in-law Douglas Evans; and his in-laws, Arthur and Hazel Evans.
He is survived by: his wife Debbie Evans; and his children, Heather Mineer (Dave), Ben Johnson (Amy), Jamie Church (Joey), Jake Johnson (Ammie), Stacia Smith (Taylor) and Adam Johnson (Kassie). He is also survived by 30 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
