Evelyn Corning wrote a sympathy message

“My husband, Jim Corning, & I worked with Marsha at Bryce Canyon in 1971. She brightened up our days every day we worked. She made all of us feel like we were one of her best friends. Jim would often leave Marsha & others little original notes he would write. Towards the end of the summer, he left her this note. "If our greatest sadness could be expressed in a single word, that word might be goodbye. J.C. "Marsha needle-pointed and framed his quote & gave it to Jim & it hangs in our home today.”
