He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Cheney and Josephine Keeler Cheney; his sisters, Mary Jean and Laura Lynn Cheney; and his son Ryan Cheney.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Cheney; his siblings, Susan Smith, Deanne Goodwin and Drew Cheney; and his children, Eric (Gretchen), Kristen Kingsley (Robert), Aaron (Jeana), Darrell (Kelly), Keith (Emily), Teresa, Craig (Amber) and Allison Terry (Dave). He is also survived by 37 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
