He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward C. Ellerbe and Janie R. Ellerbe Cole; his wife Emily K. Mickelsen Ellerbe; and his daughter Patricia Jane Griffith. He is survived by: his son John Michael Ellerbe Sr.; and his grandchildren, John Michael Ellerbe Jr. (Jamie), Beau Griffith (Kimmie), Colby Brown (Steph), Shay Griffith (Andrea), Chandra Radka (Charles) and Crystal Leavitt (Derrick). He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to your local Department of Veterans Affairs facility or another organization supporting veterans in honor of Jack's lifelong love of and dedication to his country.
