He was predeceased by: his parents, Arlyn Spencer and Violet Josephine West Spencer; his brother Brad Spencer; and his grandsons, Jarid Spencer and Jordon Spencer.
He is survived by: his children, Jona Lau (Mitch), Julie Blanchard (Coy), Jill Killian (Nate), J. Lynn Spencer (Angela), Jeff Spencer (Stephanie), Janece Beddoes (Justin), Jerald Spencer (Kathi), Jayna Turner (Dan) and James Spencer (Jami); and his siblings, Mont Spencer (Sandra), Jean Holt (Roger) and Joyce Childs (Wayne).
Visitation was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (711 S 600 E, Payson, UT 84651). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
