We announce the death of Laura Marie Coakwell Betts of Payson, Utah, who passed away on October 5, 2026, at the age of 65. Laura will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her father Richard Coakwell. She is survived by: her mother Carol Marie Keller Coakwell of Ohio; her children, Joshua Betts of Ogden, Justin Betts (Autumn) of Payson and Jentry Betts (Madison) of Santaquin; her grandchildren, Jeremiah, Avery, Sophie, Jackson, Dutton and Daxton; her brothers, Mark Coakwell (Kathryn), Doug Coakwell (Anita) and Jay Dean Betts; her daughter Jacey Betts; and her grandson Alexander Betts. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Spanish Fork City Cemetery (420 S 400 E, Spanish Fork, UT 84660).
