He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Porter and Agnes Wright Porter; his siblings, Vernal, Orvil, Sarah, Raymond, Clell, Ted, Marion, Arleane, Odell, Verold Dean and Donetta; his son Larry Blake; his son-in-law Willie Jones; his grandson Michael Jones; and his great grandchild Chase Dylan Jones.
He is survived by: his significant other Mary Estelle Howard; his children, Steven Porter (Kerry), Terri Lee Jones, Craig Porter (Laurie), Kelly Porter (April) and Mary Jane Ballard (Ed); and his sister Denise Youd (Les). He is also survived by 50 great-grandchildren, with one great-great-grandson.
