“Richard, and I served in the Navy at China Lake ,California in the mid sixties. You could not find a better friend. Richard had a great personality, everyone enjoyed is presence. We had motorcycles, Richard had a BSA and I a Harley Sportster, we would ride from the lower desert to the mountains at Lake Isabella. We would meet several of our navy friends there and camp over the weekend on the Kern River. It was a beautiful place to camp out and enjoy the cool river. Harold Hartsock”
