She was predeceased by : her parents, Cecil Bame and Ruth Holden Bame; her husband Vone J Mitchell; her siblings, Howard Bame, Marlin Bame, Carol Olsen and Karen Bame; and her son-in-law Brett Barney.

She is survived by : her daughters, Barbara Barney (John Ostler), Brenda Johnson (Steve) and Bonnie Castillo (Lloyd); and her sisters, Pauline Persson, Betty Thomas (Don) of Littlefield, AZ, Marie Underwood of Sherman, TX, Cecile Curtis, Lorraine Ryan-Bell of Tehachapi, CA and Mae Barker. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
