It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirlynn Spears (Pleasant Grove, Utah), born in Salt Lake City, Utah, who passed away on October 15, 2025, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Shirlynn may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James H. Royall and Charlean Stravato (Royall); her husband Vern Spears; her son Matthew Paul; and her siblings, Jenney Mena, Dan Royall and Christine Murphy.
She is survived by: her daughters, Brittany, Kimberly and Martha Spears; her stepson Jonathan Spears; and her sisters, Tina Severson (Roger) and Susan Ford. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
