He was predeceased by: his mother Bonnie Jean Shumway Abbott; his brothers, Myron and Blaine Abbott; and his stepchildren, Sam Baker and Elizabeth Mohr (David).
He is survived by: his father Kerry Brooks; his son Tyler Morgan Abbott (Tiffany); his stepdaughters, Katie Baker Poulson and Amy Baker; and his sister Gina Mikkola (Karl). He is also survived by 2 grandchildren and 12 step-grandchildren; 4 step-great grandchildren.
