She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Edward James, Sr.; her son Donald Edward "Donnie" James, Jr.; her grandson Bradley Turner; and her siblings, Colleen Johnson, Donna Jean Everman, Virgil Nickles and Joe Nickles.
She is survived by: her children, Gloria Gail Turner (Steve), Daniel Lee James (Yolanda), Brian Eugene James and Brent Allen James (Tracy); and her brother Arthur Nickles of Portsmouth, Ohio.. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
