He was predeceased by: his parents, Garth W Thomson and Carol Hyslop; and his siblings, Sharon Christensen, Jill Westlund, Jackie Lund and Greg Thomson.
He is survived by: his daughter Kaitlyn Thomson (Wacey); his wife Jeanine Judd; his children, Rob Thomson (Keri), Denise Gardner (Mark), Justin Powell, Apryl Pecolar (Kyle) and Jud Powell (Jana); and his sisters, Jane Painter and Barbara Rosquist (Fred). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
