She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Herrera and Gregorita Herrera; and her husband Claude Padilla. She is survived by: her close friend Inez Valdez; her grandson Jesse Sanchez; her siblings, Eligió Herrera, Lucy Velasquez, Donald Herrera, Henry "Chick" Herrera, Bennie Stubbs and Victor Herrera Jr.; her daughter-in-law Maria Herrera; her children, Robert Herrera, Lucille Sanchez and Duane Padilla (Karla); her grandchildren, Rose Marie Herrera, Robert Jr. Herrera (Leah), Jenny Marie Phillips (David), Chris Sanchez (Danielle), Carlos Andrés Padilla and AnaValeska Padilla; her stepchildren, Albert Padilla (Jeannine), Claudette Trudell (Tom) and Belma Dover; her siblings, Ruben Herrera (Joy), Julia Herrera, Johnny Herrera (Carol), Ralph Herrera (Genie), Dale Herrera and Morris Herrera (Jenae); and her sister-in-law Ruth Herrera.
