He was predeceased by : his parents, Jose Antonio and Apolonia Jacquez Sandoval; his daughter Paula Sandoval; and his brothers-in-law, Fred Duran, Buddy Quintana and Horacio Garcia.

He is survived by : his children, Francine Karakachos (Sean), Desi Sandoval and Wendy Dart; his siblings, Gilbert Sandoval (Veva), Bessie Montealegre (Juan), Margie Duran, Louise Manzanares (Candy), Josie Alcon (Jesse), Deloris Quintana and Joanne Manzanares (Steven); and his grandchildren, Kaylee Sandoval and Nick Karakachos. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and dear friends.
