She was predeceased by : her parents, Glen LeRoy and Leah Phyllis Nielsen James; her in-laws, Herbert and Elma Preston; her sister Lisa; and her brothers-in-law, Jan Wilde, Garn Pollock, Duane and Joe Preston.

She is survived by : her husband Scott Preston; her children, Courtney Preston and Ethan Preston (Kyra); her grandsons, Tripp and Aiden Preston; her sisters, Cathy Lamph (Randy), Peggy Pollock, Paula Mortensen (David) and Glena Vose (Ralph); and her sisters-in-law, Betty Larsen (Craig), Connie Linnemeyer, Danette Warren (Jim) and Hilda Preston.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Mitchell Funeral Home - Price (233 E Main St, Price, UT 84501). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Mitchell Funeral Home (233 E Main St, Price, UT 84501). A burial was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 at the Mt. View Cemetery.
