We announce the death of Kendall A Mortensen (Price, Utah), who passed away on October 6, 2026, at the age of 86. Kendall will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldred L. Mortensen and Mabel A. Mortensen; his wife Geraldine Marie Anderson; and his brother Stuart Mortensen. He is survived by: his sister-in-law Ruth Mortensen; his siblings, Kaye Peacock Boggess (David), Lynn Mortensen (Helen) and Lynne' Lake (Randy); his children, Amanda Linford (Darin) of Evanston, Kaisa Mortensen of Salt Lake City, Kari Mortensen of Alamo and Eric Mortensen (Jennifer) of Huntington, Utah.; his grandchildren, Kyla (Andy), Geoffrey (Kaley), Jade, Noah (Mary), Hannah, Aidan (Campbell), Alexia and Myles; and his great grandchildren, Cash, Mila and Gwen.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Huntington LDS 1st Ward Building (115 S 400 E, Huntington, UT 84528). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Huntington City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, we invite you to do something that brought Kendall great joy: pay for someone's lunch, fill someone's gas tank, help with someone's groceries, take care of a loved one, or simply find a way to make someone's day a little easier.
