She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank J. James and Elizabeth Leona Seeley James; her husband Mel Parry; her siblings, Frank, Earl, Glen, Donald and Donna Chiaretta; and her son-in-law Brian Nielsen.
She is survived by: her children, Jim Parry (Karen) of Blaine, WA, Ron Parry (Mary) of Colorado Springs, CO, Mike Parry (Kathy) of Helper, UT, Greg Parry (Ann) of Wellington, Utah, Karen Grimaud (Dan) of Riverton, UT, Cindy Nielsen of Helper, UT and Melanie Scott (Mark) of Walla Walla, WA. She is also survived by 29 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren and 22 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Mitchell Funeral Home (233 E Main St, Price, UT 84501). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Old Helper Stake Center (150 Ridgeway St, Helper, UT 84526).
