He was predeceased by : his parents, James Madrigal and Rose Madrigal; and his siblings, Veda, Linda and Ernie.

He is survived by : his wife Sophie Polyhronakis; his sons, Anthony, Shane Madrigal (Jennifer) and Matthew Madrigal (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Brady, Morgan, Jana, Marcus, Bostin and Jasmin; his son Frank Gombos; his grandchildren, Jake, Taylor, Casey, Sofia and Niko; his siblings, James and Teressa Richey; his nephew Ernie Madrigal (Nancy Jo); and his nieces, Bernadette Zarate (Juan), Faye Chavez (Laurian Paul) and Angel Madrigal. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
