He was predeceased by: his parents, James A. Alger and Leona Foster Alger; his son Lane A. Alger; and his brothers, Frank Jensen, Harold Thayn (Ethel) and Jim Alger (Betty).
He is survived by: his wife Sherry Alger; his son Troy Alger (Kelsey) of Missouri; and his siblings, Jennie McGouirk of Georgia, John Alger (Shirley) of Mesquite, NV and Pete Alger (Ilene) of Huntington.
