He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Romero and Erlinda Herrera Romero; his parents-in-law, Marbie Rudman and Doyle Blackham; his son Cody Utley; his stepdaughter Danielle Belvins; his grandchildren, Haven Romero, Angel Romero and Romeo Heaven Romero; his siblings, Viola, Patsy (Jasper), Tenito, Dorothy, Mike Guzman, Stephen Johnson, Kari Pilling (David) and Johnny Blackham; his nieces, Erlinda Guzman and Jessica Guzman; and his nephew Jon Dickerson.
He is survived by: his wife Kelly Blackham Romero; his children, Brandy Flores (Justin Carpenter), Michael (Amanda), Brett Blackham (Kayla), Doyle Romero (Alicia), Price and Chaz Romero (Trina Lopez); his godchildren, Dorothy Vigil, Tasha Freeman, Jordan Crossley, Tyrece Crossley and Henery Crossley; and his siblings, Charlie (Virginia), Flora Holguin (Mike), Wellington, Alice (Jim), Cleo (Carl), Clara Romero (Larry "Dago" Cologie) and Teri Wells (Matt). He is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends.
