He was predeceased by: his parents, Orlan Clinton Pope and Leona Marie Jacobson Pope; his siblings, Elda Thatcher, Arlene Beckstead, Dora, Delvar, Jacobson, Edwin (Eddy) and Lelan (Teddy); his son-in-law Scott Robbins; his grandchildren, Joshua and Cassie Pope; and his former wife Reva.
He is survived by: his wife Susan; and his children, Tonia (Brett), Sherry (Barry), Lorie Ann, Cindy (Carlos) and Joseph (Lucy).
