He was predeceased by: his brother Mark Laverne Hammons; his stepson Jarrod Ablard; and his grandparents, Lester, Mildred Eis, Burnell and Innes Hammons.
He is survived by: his parents, Burnell Hammons and Marie Hammons (Eis); his siblings, Debra Pleasant (Howard) and David Hammons (Julie); his sons, Danny Burnell Hammons, Montana and Travis Lester Hammons; his stepchildren, Julien Sanchez and Roxanne Sines; his aunt Ruth Hanna; and his close friend Bonnie Gertsch. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
