He was predeceased by: his parents, Jean André and Georgette Beauvais Martial; his former wife Gladys Montrose Martial; his brothers, Jean Antoine Martial, Emmanuel Martial and Yves Martial; and his granddaughter Nathalie J. Martial-Vann.
He is survived by: his spouse Monise Pierre St. Louis; his children, Marc-Aurel Martial (Cempaka), Jean-Philippe Martial (Beth), Michaëlle Martial, Johanne D. Martial Schirck (Paul) and Joanna Joseph (Gladys); his grandchildren, Lévi L. Martial, Christine M. Martial, A. John Martial, Renée Martial-Vann, Christian M. Martial, Marie-Laure A. Martial-Vann, Yaël B. Martial-Vann, Dhiren T. Martial, Jean-Philippe Martial Jr. and Dahlia S. Martial; his siblings, Désinor Martial and Marie Carmel Martial; his family, Marie Ange Auguste, Marie Michelle Magré, Yves Mackenson Berry and Jean Junior Herve Berry; and his close friends, Marc Édouard Joseph, Fritzner, Gina Joseph, Dr. Elie Nicolas, Dr. Wiener Damour (Nènè), Françoise Pierre, Eddy Bourdeau, Kenney, Suze Augustin, Pierre Dartiguenave and Johns Diegue.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Heart Association, causes that were close to Dieudonné's heart.
