He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Louise Dixon and Elijah Ferrin Larkin; his wife Carol Lyn; his children, David (Michele), Sarah Robbins (Richard), Jeffrey (Emily) and Megan Thomas (Blake); and his siblings, Julia Squires (Ray) of Rochester, MN, Marty Larkin of Cedar City, UT, Jim Larkin (Christine) of Ogden, UT, Bill Larkin (Sharon) of Fruit Heights, UT and Jane Thurston (Ted) of Escondido, CA.. He was also cherished by 11 grandchildren.
Dixon worked for Jones, Waldo, Holbrook and McDonough from 1984 to 1989 while also serving on the Medical/Legal Committee of the Utah State Bar Association and the Board of Directors of the American Cancer Society in Utah.
