She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Chester Shumway and Eleanor Shumway; her brother Stephen Shumway; her brothers-in-law, Steve Legrady and Chuck Ginsberg; her children, Greg Thomson, Brian Thomson (Tanya), Heidi Hamblin, Lisa Hill (Von) and Tony Thomson (Mary); and her siblings, Jerry Shumway (Carol), Bonnie Ginsberg, Stanley Shumway (Brandy) and Sharon Legrady. She was also cherished by extended family, 24 grandchildren, and 46 great-grandchildren.
A committal service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary (719 N 27th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85009).
