It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edgel Liechty (Provo, Utah), born in Springville, Utah, who passed away on July 22, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his siblings, Carrol, Dell, Dean, Bernice, Norma and Jay; his daughter Andrea; his former spouses, Sidney Anderson and Carolyn Christensen; his children, Kathy Bennett, Michael (Terri), Douglas (Anne), Christopher (Steph), Susan Carlisle, Melinda Reynolds, Patrick Liechty (Regina), George (Sara), Nicholas, Benjamin and Eric (Charlynn); and his wife Nina Jean Young.
Viewing will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Bonneville 5th Ward (1498 E 800 S, Provo, UT 84606). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
