She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Harold Mitchell and Bertrude Seeley Mitchell; her siblings, Harold S. "Hal" Mitchell and Jo Anne M. Adams; and her grandson Richard Russell.
She is survived by: her children, Margaret R. Sumens (Peg), Murray, Harold W. Russell, B. C., Grant Richard Russell (Tessa), Gordon Stephen Russell (Debi) and Barbara Ann Russell; her sister Peggy M. Dobrusky Tate (Marilyn Adams); her niece Melody Cutler; and her sister Peggy Laurette M. Dobrusky. She is also survived by 34 great-grandchildren.
