On December 19, 1978, my wife of 4 months suffered a head injury in a car accident and I rushed home at 7pm to pick up some things to spend the night at the hospital and who should be calling at that very moment? Jerry Bench! He was in town recording City of Joseph. He spent the night with me in the hospital in the ICU waiting room. What love!”
