Helen Rose leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Helen Rose’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Helen Rose will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She is survived by: her siblings, Joan Higginson Masterson and Charles Oakey Higginson; and her children, Carole Sue, David Bruce, Douglas Charles, Sherry, Marilee and Laurelyn. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren (3 deceased), 46 great grandchildren (one deceased) and 12 great-great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (2020 N 1500 E, Provo, UT 84604). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
She met Shirley Melvin "Jep" Jeppson at a church dance when he offered to make a donation to the building fund if he could be introduced to the prettiest girl in the Latter-Day Saint Branch.
