John Cannon Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on July 12, 2021, at the age of 93, John Cannon of Provo, Utah, born in Salt Lake City, Utah passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bennion and Superintendent of Maintenance; his sisters, Elaine Nichols, Leonora Cannon and Ruth Siebers; his sons, John Cannon (Vonda Brown) and Paul Cannon (Linda Busenbark); and his granddaughter Abby Kate Cannon.

He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Funk, David Cannon, Cathy Woolley (Scott Woolley) and Chris Cannon (Corenna Critchfield); Alice Schmidt, Anne Cannon, Richard Cannon and Joe Cannon.

He then served regularly for well over a decade at local family history center libraries, until the pandemic shut them down.

Margaret was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 1999.
