He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Vergil Franklin Ray and Grace Elizabeth Hanson Ray; his siblings, Virgil, Stanley, Eugene, Gloria, Julia, Carolyn, Marilyn and Rebecca; his great grandchild Eden Retzlaff; and his siblings-in-law, Darwin and Miriam Southwick.
He is survived by: his sister Evelyn Goudie (Larry); his wife Susan Ray; and his children, Jack Lelend Ray, Marjorie Anne Retzlaff, Daniel Wade Ray (Lanna), Marcas Darawin Ray, Michael Shawn Ray and Miriam Grace Holderby (Nicholas). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
