We are sad to announce that, on August 11, 2020, at the age of 90, Leonard MacKay (Provo, Utah), born in Roosevelt, Utah passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, David Orson Mackay, II and Mary Hannah Collins Mackay. He is survived by: his wife Lillie; his children, Stanley Glenn Mackay (Pam), Cynthia Dall (Craig), Susan Bramble (Curt), Cheryl Mackay and Leslie Shull (Andy); and his close friend Lillie. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.

“I GRADUATED IN 1961, AND DURING MY THREE YEARS AT PHS COACH McKAY WAS MY BASEBALL & FOOTBALL COACH. ADDITIONALLY, HE TAUGHT ME IN DRIVER EDUCATION. HE WAS ALWAYS SMILING & A FRIEND TO ME. WHEN I RETURNED FROM THE MILITARY I NEEDED A PLACE TO COMPLETE MY STUDENT TEACHING. I WAS LATE APPLYING BUT COACH & MR. MOON TOOK ME IN. HE WAS AN EXCELLENT TEACHER AND FRIEND. HE WILL BE MISSED.
