Lillian Young Hayes Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lillian Young Hayes (Provo, Utah), born in Roosevelt, Utah, who passed away on May 1, 2022, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elsie Lucile Brady and Dallas Huber Young; her husband John Keith Hayes; her brother Keith; and her son James Peter.
She is survived by: her children, Miriam, Lillian, LeGrande, Dallas Jr., Molly, Margaret Ann Guinn Allen (Meg), Geraldine Lasater, John Keith, Jr. (Andy Clark), Frederick Samson (Danny Rill McCombs), Bonnie Hayes Callis (Charles) and Richard Young. She is also survived by 6 children, 26 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren.
Dallas took Lucile from their homestead cabin in Antelope Canyon to Roosevelt where, due to the influenza pandemic of 1918-1920, it was not safe to go to the hospital, so they went upstairs above the Rexall Drug building on Main Street.
