She was predeceased by: her parents, Fay Elgie Thacker and Thaylia Watson Thacker; her husband Jack Waldo Leifson; and her siblings, Fern Anderson, Harry Thacker, Kent Thacker, Helen Gheen, LaPreal Allison and Ella Thacker.
She is survived by: her children, Bret (Lauren) of South Jordan, Utah, Ronald (Cheryl) of Saratoga Springs, Utah, Kirk (Darlene) of Haslett, Michigan, Robert (Lynne) of Woodruff, Utah, Paulette Brown (Doug) of Panama City, Florida, Jolene Harris (Chad) of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Lori Marshall of Provo, Utah and Julie Harrison (Jared) of Newnan, Georgia.; her brother Weldon Thacker; and her sister-in-law Freda Kaye Leifson. She is also survived by her 42 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Lakeside 10th Ward (2225 W 620 N, Provo, UT 84601). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In honor of her generous heart, the family asks that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Humanitarian Aid Fund.
