She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hansen Valberg and Nancy Emmett Valberg; and her sister Kathleen Buck. She is survived by: her husband Larry D. Macfarlane; her sons, Larry V, John Dean, Drew and Mitch; her brother John Valberg (Carol Reeder Valberg); and her brother-in-law Romney Buck. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
