He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, Albert Keith Crandell and Morris H Nelson; and his aunts and uncles, Kent Morris Nelson, Leonard Bert Waite, Colleen Crandell and Carol Rasmussen.
He is survived by: his partner Cortney Crandell; his parents, William Crandell and Jill Crandell; his siblings, Nathan Crandell (Alexandria), Melissa Phelps (Jacob), Janina Newman (Richard) and Jacob Crandell (Cassie); and his children, Andrew Crandell, Khloee Crandell, Paydon, Macayla, Madison and Oaklee Amann. He is also survived by sixteen nieces and nephews, thirteen aunts and uncles, and many cousins.
Viewing was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Nelson Family Mortuary (4780 N University Ave, Provo, UT 84604). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 8:00 AM and at 9:00 AM at the same location.
