He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Julius Morse and Anne Morse; his sister Linda; his friend Woody Allen; his wife Janice Hambleton Pearson; and his children, Nicola Pearson and Murray Pearson.

With a dual diagnosis of Parkinson's and Alzheimer's diseases, his health had been declining for many years.
