Robert Smead Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Smead (Provo, Utah), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 8, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Robert's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Robert has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert S. Smead and Norma Smead (Crowther). He is survived by: his wife Gloria Olga Magadan; and his children, Jessica Blackham (Nathan), Justin Smead (Monica), Richard Smead (Austin) and Jon Smead (Cinthya). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Nelson Family Mortuary (4780 N University Ave, Provo, UT 84604). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
