May Shirlene's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may she find rest in the embrace of eternity.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James William Palmer and Laurel Jenson Palmer; and her husband Wallace McBride "Wally" Barrus. She is survived by: her children, Jeri Ann Evans (Phillip), Steven Barrus (Elaine), Andrea Thompsett (Bob) and Ema Ohran (John). She is also survived by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nelson Family Mortuary (4780 N University Ave, Provo, UT 84604). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
