He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis F. Camara and Janice Zobell Camara; his son David Brent Camara; his son-in-law Danny Nessen Jr.; and his brothers, Francis Jay "Jeep", Lionel Z. and Charles "Chuck" Camara.

He is survived by: his son Stephen Scott Camara (Melanie McIntosh); his wife Barbara Pendley Camara; his daughter Lisa C. Nessen; his grandchildren, Samantha Camara Speaker, Jackson Camara, Shaylee Nessen and Teagan Nessen; and his great grandchildren, Kohen, Eli, Emma and Andrew.

He filed countless grievances to protect his coworkers and was always ready to lend a helping hand or make a donation to someone in need.
