He was predeceased by: his parents, Melford King and Della King (Lyman); his siblings, Arl "Pete" King, Hal King, Jim King, Garth King, Ross King, Afton Hales, Ruth Ann Wilkins and Jane Ludlow; and his children-in-law, Steven Thornton and Marie King.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lee King (Cloward); and his children, Debbie Thornton of Orangeville, Jim King of Provo, Todd King (Colleen) of Midvale and Corrin Smith (Earl) of St. George. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren.
