He was predeceased by: his grandmother Rivka Michelle Galbraith van of Graaff. He is survived by: his parents, Erin Emmett van of Graaff and Stefan van of Graaff; and his brother Peter van of Graaff. He is also survived by two grandfathers, one grandmother, five aunts, five uncles, and sixteen cousins.
