William Robert Rea Obituary

It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved William Robert Rea (Provo, Utah), born in Bend, Oregon, who passed away, on June 8, 2025. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of William Robert Rea to show support.

As we bid William Robert farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For William Robert is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Rea and Grace Elizabeth (Roberts); his wife Elaine Chambers of North Albany; his daughters, Harper Sherman (Aaron) of Tacoma and Holly of Beaverton; his grandsons, Holden and Arlo Sherman; and his brothers, Glen (Carol) of Albany and Kevin (Barbara) of Bend. He was also cherished by seven nieces and nephews.

Donations to honor Bill may be made to the Memorial Gifts Fund at Valley Community Presbyterian or to the Earth Sciences Lab at Oregon Museum of Science and Industry.
