She was predeceased by: her parents, Keith Dean and Carol Loraine Christensen McConnell; and her brothers, Kjeld and Michael McConnell. She is survived by: her siblings, Sharon Roberts, Stan McConnell, Kathy Purinton (Bill) and Lisa Mitchell (Roy). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
Carrie chose to donate her body to science.
