She was predeceased by : her parents, Roy Barnes and Lola Barnes; her siblings, LeRoy Barnes, Calvin Barnes (Pauline), Dudley Barnes and Almy "Bud" Barnes (Haruko); and her grandchildren, Christopher Sterling Findlay and Sidney Mason Nielson.

She is survived by : her husband Lynn Findlay; her children, Sterling Findlay, Brit Findlay, Laura Tobler (Ryan), Hilary Breinholt (Christian) and Hali Grundy (Jared); and her brother Donald Barnes of South Dakota. She is also survived by her 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
